Dr. Krisiti Darrow DVM

Veterinarian

At just five years old, Dr. Darrow told her family that she wanted to be a vet, and she’s been pursuing that passion ever since. A dedicated and high-achieving student, she earned a scholarship to Oklahoma State University, where she graduated with Honors and a B.S. in Biomedicine in just three years. She continued her journey at OSU’s veterinary school and has built a career she truly loves, caring for animals every day. Known for her compassion and commitment, Dr. Darrow goes above and beyond for her patients and their families, whether that means answering late-night emergency calls or making an extra trip to the clinic to check on a sick pet. She takes great pride in providing thoughtful, high-quality care to every animal she treats. Outside the clinic, Dr. Darrow enjoys spending time with her family, doting on her own pets, reading, and watching Disney movies. She’s also a proud mom of two wonderful daughters—now grown—whom many clients may remember as little ones happily roaming the clinic halls.

As Heather supports Dr. Darrow with accounting, payroll, administrative tasks, uniforms, and so much more, she is so very important to ensuring that Newcastle Animal Hospital runs smoothly. Heather became part of the family after being a home nurse for both of Dr. Darrow's parents and we never want to know a life without her.
